Prayer Principles

Abundant and Strategic Prayer for Workers Luke 10:2 teaches,

“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

It is important to see the harvest as plentiful. This inspires us to pray regularly with faith for more workers and movements of disciples making disciples. Many on our team have set our phone alarms for 10:02 as a daily reminder to pray for workers and we ask that you join us.

Yes right now, set your alarm for 10:02 (am or pm). Pay attention to how God grows your love for the lost in your city and get ready for Divine encounters.

Develop a Prayer Network
In Colossians 4:2-3 we see how Paul develops his pray network for those on the front lines,

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.”

During a DMM leadership gathering, we committed to fast and pray for Disciple Making Movements in the Americas. We specifically focus our prayers geographically on the following days of each week:

• Mondays – Canada and the USA
• Tuesdays – Mexico
• Wednesdays – Central America
• Thursdays – The Caribbean
• Fridays – South America

You can pray for workers in these regions as part of your 10:02 prayer time, asking God to provide for workers as they seek His harvest. You can also email me if you’d like to join our prayer movement to receive specific prayer request and updates.
